Consumer Affairs and Trading Standards Conference and Exhibition 2013

We have a packed programme of social, evening and daytime sports events running until Thursday 20 June. Conference will be opened by TSI President and TSI Chairman followed by a speech by the Minister for employment relations and consumer affairs (Department of Business, Innovations and Skills).

Highlights of Conference include –

 Opening plenary on Tuesday: Devolution, regionalism and localism –avoiding the consumer protection postcode lottery chaired by Paul Lewis of BBC's Money Box programme

Wednesdays plenary - Cut price regulation, new generation empowerment chaired by Liz Barclay broadcaster, journalist and writer

Thursdays plenary - Proving our case chaired by Lynn Faulds Wood broadcaster, journalist and cancer campaigner
