A new BBC1 series Fake Britain featuring the invaluable work done by trading standards was aired every day last week.
The five part series focuses on scams, frauds and counterfeiting, and the proactive work that is being done to fight and prevent these.
TSI press office was first contacted in May 2009 by the production company commissioned to make the series and since then many trading standards services stepped forward to help with the programmes.
Producer Mark Jordan sent TSI press office a message of thanks to all enforcement agencies for contributions ‘that make for a gripping and informative series – it will undoubtedly help educate people up and down the country on the vast world of fake goods and services.’
