Ella is a former three times Polish junior chess champion, a social entrepreneur, founder and leader of a number of charities and campaigns. Ella has experience of raising million pounds’ grants and in 2013 she was chosen as one of the top 25 fundraisers under the age of 35 in the UK.
Ella is a social worker by background and a third sector professional and has several years’ extensive experience of working in fundraising, commissioning, trading and leadership roles across many sectors: community advice, family support, health and social care, including care for the elderly, palliative care and chronic illness, accessible transport, ethnic, gender and disability equality issues, immigration, welfare, housing and homelessness.
Ella has a postgraduate diploma in global development management and bachelor degree in political sciences and social welfare.
Currently she works part time as CEO of FibroAction, a small national charity supporting people with fibromyalgia.
