Parliamentary briefings

As a result of continued parliamentary monitoring, CTSI produces briefings on key pieces of legislation and upcoming debates in both Houses. These, more general briefings, are intended to provide information and evidence to parliamentarians and to assist them when addressing the House on trading standards issues.

We can also provide besoke briefings for parliamentarians upon request.  If you would like a briefing on a particular piece of trading standards legislation or a specific subject area please contact the CTSI policy team ( and they will be happy to assist you with your request.
