CTSI Corporate Affiliate Membership

Alongside our individual membership programme, the Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CSTI) operates a long-established Corporate Affiliate Membership scheme. This is open to any business involved in the fields of Regulatory Compliance, Fair Trading Practices, and Consumer Protection.

We welcome corporate membership applications from organisations of all sizes – from sole traders to large multinationals. The only stipulation is that your organisation is both customer oriented and supports the aims, values and objectives of CTSI.

PLEASE NOTE: Corporate Affiliate Members are entitled to use the CTSI Corporate Affiliate Member logo in promotional materials and on their websites (terms and conditions apply). In addition, they may respond to CTSI’s regular Consultation documents.

As a Corporate Affiliate Member, you receive a free Delegate Pass, to CTSI’s 3-day Annual Conference – the most important annual event for trading standards and consumer protection professionals (additional passes may be purchased, at a discount). Our corporate supporters also receive generous discounts on Exhibitor Packages, Seminar Sessions, advertising rates in the Conference Guide, Corporate Sponsorship opportunities and much more.

3. Journal of Trading Standards

In addition to receiving a complimentary subscription to the Journal of Trading Standards (including both the bi-annual print publication and full online access), Corporate Affiliate Members also receive a 20% Discount off the standard advertising rates in any CTSI publication, including the Journal of Trading Standards news website and any print publications.

4. Exclusive Discounts

We offer a range of negotiated discounts, including Up to 20% discount on Dell Computers and accessories, with access to a team of small business technology advisors to help our members grow their business; and 25% off luxury bouquets at Appleyard Flowers.

CTSI Corporate Affiliate Membership Fees

There are three bands of CTSI Corporate Affiliate Membership, based on the number of staff in your organisation. The annual fee for each band is as follows:

BAND 1: Between 6 and 25 employees - £745 per annum
BAND 2: More than 25 employees - £1,173 per annum
BAND 3: 5 employees or fewer - £496 per annum.

PLEASE NOTE: We offer a 10% Discount to registered charities and not-for-profit organisations (in Bands 1 and 2).

PLEASE NOTE: We ask that each Corporate Affiliate Member nominates a single employee to receive correspondence from CTSI, including the Journal of Trading Standards and other digital content. This nominee can be anyone within the organisation and does not need to be a director or company secretary. As the primary contact, they would also be entitled to attend CTSI’s Annual Conference and Branch Events.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

MEMBERSHIP YEAR:

Our membership year runs from January to December. If your organisation joins mid-way through the year, the annual fee will be calculated on a pro rata basis. There is nothing to pay until your membership has been approved.
