Symposium Diary 2
We’re already a month into the new year, and the CTSI Symposium is rapidly approaching. Plenaries are being finalised, the exhibition is nearly full, and seminar sessions, which will be running through all three days of the event, are filling up fast. And let's not forget the sold out Masterclasses taking place each afternoon, including Wednesday's slot by Drystone Chambers, so don’t forget to stay for that unmissable session. Symposium 2018 is shaping up to be a fantastic event!
We’re excited to announce that Yoti, the digital identity app we spoke about in the last diary, will be sponsoring our Welcome Breakfast this year. Taking place on the first morning of Symposium, the Welcome Breakfast offers delegates the opportunity for valuable networking with peers and exhibitors. There will also be the chance to hear from CTSI Chief Executive, Leon Livermore, and from Yoti Director of Regulatory & Policy Julie Dawson.
Yoti were exhibitors at last year’s Conference, where they demonstrated their ground-breaking identity platform, offering consumers a faster, simpler and safer way to prove their age and identity, both online and in person. Speaking about CTSI’s Symposium, Julie said: “Yoti are excited to re-join CTSI for their Symposium. Sponsoring the Welcome Breakfast allows us to rub shoulders with trading standards officers, who share our commitment to consumer protection.”
Joining us for the first time are Essex Legal Services, an Essex-based public law firm with an award-winning team of over 100 legal professionals, and the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB). SSAIB is the leading certification body for organisations providing security systems and services, fire detection and alarm systems, telecare systems and services, manned security services and monitoring services. We're also excited to be joined for the first time by costumer designer Rubie's.
Remember, booking for our residential packages is now open, and places are filling fast – make sure you book soon to secure your place. Alternately, if you’re only attending for one day, you should take advantage of our refreshment package. There is no cash catering available in the conference centre, meaning you will not be able to buy refresements during the day. As a result, we’ve prepared an exclusive refreshment package for our delegates, which includes a two-course hot & cold lunch buffet, and unlimited tea, coffee, water, fruit and biscuits throughout the day. Please note, the refreshment package is included as part of the residential packages.
