Posted 15/04/24

Today (Monday, 15th April 2024), Steve Ruddy, CTSI's Chair of the Board, John Herriman, CTSI's Chief Executive and Duncan Stephenson, Director of External Affairs had a very productive and constructive meeting with Kevin Hollinrake, Minister for Business, Enterprise and Small Markets.

The meeting was held at the Government building for the Department for Business and Trade, Old Admiralty Building at Admiralty Place in Whitehall, London. The Building is the largest of the Admiralty Buildings in Whitehall and has been home to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) since the 1960s. The building also houses the Government Art Collection, which CTSI was pleased to be able to have a look around.

Topics for discussion included the CTSI's manifesto and the important role that Trading Standards plays in protecting consumers and businesses. Also discussed during the meeting was the importance of the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme and the Ministers commitment to speak at the CTSI flagship event - The CTSI Annual Conference in June.

If you haven't already booked your place to attend this year's Conference then visit our Conference page for all the details and to confirm your attendance at the must attend event of the year.

Special thanks to : Minister Hollinrake for hosting this very engaging meeting.
