CTSI, in collaboration with the Home Office, is launching a new practical training programme to help you identify, investigate and respond to the criminal activity you encounter in your work.

Through expert-led sessions, you'll explore topics including illicit trade, modern slavery and child sexual exploitation, while building the practical skills needed to gather intelligence, strengthen investigations and take effective enforcement action.

For professionals across regulation, enforcement and public protection.

• Investigations and intelligence: strengthen your skills in gathering information, sharing intelligence and building cases.

• Proceeds of crime: understand opportunities to recover the financial proceeds of criminal activity.

• Counterfeiting and underage sales: develop your knowledge to support effective enforcement.

• Organised crime in commercial rented property: understand criminal activity and enforcement options involving landlords.

• Modern slavery and child sexual exploitation: recognise warning signs in your day-to-day work.

• Personal safety: manage challenging situations and plan safer visits.

• Energy theft: recognise hazards and understand how to keep yourself safe.

• Trading Standards powers: build confidence in using powers appropriately, with sessions for new staff, apprentices and experienced officers.

• Management: strengthen oversight of enforcement activity and decision-making.
