The trueCall call blocker is a British designed device that sits between the phone socket and the phone. trueCall’s patented technology checks every call - calls from trusted callers are let straight through, calls from know nuisance callers are blocked, and all other callers are intercepted and checked before they are allowed to ring the phone. There are two main settings – one for vulnerable people that blocks 95%+ of unwanted calls, and one for those living with dementia which offers 100% protection.

trueCall units have been distributed by 120 trading standards teams, 33 police forces, Age UK, the National Trading Standards Scams Team and Action Fraud. Data from trueCall units is used by many agencies to monitor and investigate nuisance and scam callers – Ofcom, the Information Commissioner, National Fraud Intelligence Bureau, the National Crime Agency, Trading Standards Scotland and the National Trading Standards Scams Team.
