Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprenticeship 
Consumer Protection Environment (part of TSQF CSCATS award)

What you will need to do to to complete this stage:

• If your exemption is over 5 years old you will provide 10 hours CPPD to prove you have kept your knowledge up to date.  Evidence provided will be against Unit 1 syllabi.
• Complete Unit 2 Business and Consumer Legal Frameworks (unless you have exemptions - see Unit 2 information below).
• Complete Unit 3 Trading Standards Law Part 1 (unless you have exemption - see Unit 3 information below)

Exemptions available:

Law of Contract (part of TSQF CSCATS award)
DCA Part 1
CTSI accredited university exemption in Law of Contract
Law Society recognised law degree

• Complete Unit 1 Regulatory Environment and Enforcement (unless you have exemption - see Unit 1 information above).
• Complete Unit 3 Trading Standards Law Part 1 (unless you have exemption - see Unit 3 information below).

Exemptions available:

Fair Trading Criminal (paper from the TSQF framework)
Fair Trading Law (paper from DCA framework)
CTSI accredited university exemption in Fair Trading Criminal

• If you exemption is over 5 years old you will provide 10 hours CPPD to prove you have kept your knowledge up to date.  Evidence provided will be against Unit 3 syllabi.
• Complete Unit 1 Regulatory Environment and Enforcement (unless you have exemption - see Unit 1 information above).
• Complete Unit 2 Business and Consumer Legal Frameworks (unless you have exemption - see Unit 2 information above).

- Legal Metrology Law exam (paper from the TSQF Framework)
- Legal Metrology Technology exam (paper from the TSQF framework)
- Legal Metrology Practical exam (paper from the TSQF framework)
- Legal Metrology Oral exam (paper from the TSQF framework)
- Food Standards exam (paper from the TSQF framework)
- Food Standards Oral exam (paper from the TSQF framework)
- Product Safety exam (paper from the TSQF framework)
- Agriculture exam (paper from the TSQF framework)
- Agriculture Oral exam (paper from the TSQF framework)

DCA

- Food and Agriculture exam (equivalent to both Food and Feed subject) (paper from the DCA framework)
- Consumer Safety (paper from the DCA framework)

• If your exemption(s) are over 5 years old you will provide 10 hours CPPD to prove you have kept your knowledge up to date. Evidence provided will be against Unit 4 syllabi.
• Complete Unit 1 Regulatory Environment and Enforcement (unless you have exemption - see Unit 1 information above).
• Complete Unit 2 Business and Consumer Legal Frameworks (unless you have exemption - see Unit 2 information above).
• Complete Unit 3 Trading Standards Law Part 1 (unless you have exemption - see Unit 3 information above).
• Complete outstanding Unit 4 requirements.
• Complete Unit 5 Investigations (unless you have exemption- see Unit 5 information below).
• Complete Unit 6 Regulating Markets 

(please note: to gain a full exemption for the Legal Metrology written exam you will need to have passed both the Legal Metrology Law and Technology papers.  Where only one exists, you will be required to complete the remaining element)

Exemptions available:

Intelligence and Investigative Principles exam (paper from the TSQF framework)
