GRIP and RDNA guides
CTSI understand that obtaining CPPD is one of the most important aspects of demonstrating competency. As such we have now published guides for the use of the RDNA & GRIP tools.
The Regulators' Development Needs Analysis tool (RDNA) is a self-assessment tool via an interactive website enabling regulators to identify and prioritise their development needs. It includes a list of core competencies providing a general framework for consideration and technical knowledge sections specific to particular regulatory functions.
The Guidance for Regulators - Information Point (GRIP) tool is a website that provides links to learning materials to help regulators in local authorities and elsewhere to meet their development needs in a cost-effective way.
It supports the use of the RDNA self-assessment tool, having the same core competencies and technical knowledge sections and modules.
Candidates who complete both of these items will also be allocated CPPD.
Both of these tools can be found in 'related resources' under the professional competency page. Or by accessing the link below.
