Nominations

Chair, Vice Chair and Second Vice Chair of the Council of the Institute

We are seeking nominations for Chair, Vice Chair and Second Vice Chair of the Council of the Institute for the year commencing from the AGM on 4 October 2023.  Nominations for these officer posts can only be made by an established Branch or Section of CTSI and have to be signed by at least two officers.  If an individual member wishes to nominate a person this must be done through their Branch or Section.

It is anticipated that there is a progression from Second Vice Chair to Vice Chair to Chair of the Council. Nominees should therefore be prepared to commit to this progression and the nominating Branch or Section bear this in mind when making a nomination and judging a potential nominee against the person specification. 

If there is more than one nomination for each post a ballot will be conducted in accordance with the Regulations of the Institute.

Further details about the role of Chair can be found in the person specification which forms part of the nomination form (see below).  The Chair and Vice Chair will be appointed as non-executive directors to the Board and will be required to discharge all obligations as a company director.

Nationally Elected Council Members

The CTSI Council is the elected body responsible for giving general guidance on the aims and objectives to be followed by the Institute, both as a business and as a membership organisation.

We are seeking nominations for four Nationally Elected Members to join the Council for a three-year period from this year’s Annual General Meeting  on 4 October 2023. Please note that there are three places for CTSI Full Members and one place for a CTSI Student Member. Individual members can nominate Nationally Elected Members.

Closing date for receipt of nominations is noon Friday 4 August 2023.
