How to Pay Your Subscription

If you paid by Direct Debit in 2023, you will need to complete the CTSI direct debit mandate, full details and link will be in your renewal notification. The existing TSI mandate will no longer be valid for 2023. For those paying by monthly direct debit, please do not cancel your TSI mandate until January, to ensure December’s payment is processed.

For new payments by Annual, Quarterly or Monthly Direct Debit the form must completed online and be received by 28 February 2023 to receive the direct debit discount.

Credit/Debit Card - Pay your subscription annually by Credit/Debit Card - Please note we can only take payment over the phone. Or follow the payment link in your renewal. (see contact details below).

Cheque or Postal Order - Pay your subscription annually by mailing your cheque or postal order (made payable to “Chartered Trading Standards Institute” and quote your six-digit membership number on the reverse) to the Institute head office. Alternatively, you can pay by BACS using the information provided on your invoice. You will need to quote your six-digit membership number as an identifier. Under current working conditions BACS payments would be preferable. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.

DISCOUNTS - If you pay by any of the methods stated above by 28 February 2023 you will pay the discounted rate shown on your renewal notice.

Other Forms – If you pay your subscription yourself, did you know you can claim Tax Relief on your membership subscription? Please download the Tax Relief form (below) and send this to your local Tax office; you can claim up to four years payments. Information on past payments made can be obtained by contacting [email protected]. Please note Student and Retired members cannot claim Tax Relief on their subscriptions.
