10 years of a child’s life – saved!

In the run up to this year’s general election TSI are implementing a strategy to raise the profile of trading standards among politicians.

Our hope is that further engagement will move trading standards up the political agenda and help garner further support for the array of work trading standards services are carrying out across the UK.

Our ‘Create a Campaign’ competition, sponsored by Waitrose, launched at Westminster on February 4, and a further event is planned at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh on 17 February.  
A number of important and influential speakers attended the Westminster event, including Under Secretary of State for Health Jane Ellison, Director of Tobacco and Alcohol at Public Health England Rosanna O’Connor, MYP Toby Jeffrey and inspirational speaker Kelly Brand.
