CTSI celebrates race equality week
As part of Race Equality Week, CTSI would like to highlight the work it has undertaken to raise the profile of this vital issue among the trading standards profession.
Last year, CTSI instituted a Race & Equalities Working Group, comprised of CTSI board members, staff and trading standards professionals. The Working Group discusses and implements projects focussing on these crucial issues within the profession.
CTSI Vice-Chair Tendy Lindsay is the Chair of this working group. You can hear more about the focus of the group in her presentation which was first seen during the CTSI Virtual Symposium 2020.
View the full presentation at this link, and see the section on unconscious bias here.
2021 will see further growth in our work around this issue as we seek to expand inclusivity in the profession and support businesses and consumers in diverse communities.
