ETC-19 Group wins Hero Award

Earning this year’s prestigious Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) Hero Award as the overall winner for the COVID-19 Team category due to its “truly astonishing speed and the depth of diligence, commitment and personal drive of officers,” is the Environmental Health & Trading Standards COVID-19 Expert Group (ETC-19 Group) at the Society of Chief Officers of Trading Standards in Scotland (SCOTSS) & Society of Chief Officers of Environmental Health in Scotland (SOCOEHS).
CTSI announces COVID-19 Team Hero Awards winners

The Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) today announced the winners of the COVID-19 Team Award along with an Overall Winner during the CTSI Hero Awards 2020. The Hero Awards recognise the achievements of consumer protection professionals who have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

The Chartered Trading Standards Institute (CTSI) announced on Friday 9 October that retired Trading Standards Specialist Chris Holden has received a CTSI Hero Award for his 28 years of continuous service with Buckinghamshire and later Buckinghamshire and Surrey Trading Standards Service.
