Jemma Cox: is a CTSP and Trading Standards Officer, who has worked in Trading Standards for 15 years. She is a PGCE qualified tutor in law and business at Cardiff University, a role she has held for over 16 years. Jemma is the Lead Officer for Training and Professional Development for Trading Standards Wales and a CTSI Lead Officer, teaching and assessing on the CTSI Qualification. She is also a member of the CTSI Policy Committee and the host of the Ask the Regulator podcast.
Once completed, attendees will :
- identify and explain the rights and relevant remedies that apply to goods contracts between traders and consumers
- identify and explain the rights and relevant remedies that apply to service contracts between traders and consumers
- identify and explain the rights and relevant remedies that apply to digital content contracts between traders and consumers
- discuss relevant case law in these areas and how the law is applied in practice
