Upcoming courses for retailers of tobacco, nicotine and vape products:
Fixed Penalty Notice: Wednesday 30 September 10.00 -11.00
This session will explain what offences can now be dealt with by Fixed Penalty Notices, highlight when these notices may be used, discuss how notices are treated and what happens if the trader decides to challenge or not pay.
Underage Sales: Friday 9 October 10.00 - 11.00
This session will highlight why it is important to avoid underage sales and what measures a business should take to ensure they comply with age of sale restrictions.
Reasonable Step: Monday 12 October 13.00 – 14.00
This session will cover what the courts may see as “reasonable steps” in the event of a business being prosecuted for an underage sale.
